This book is typically known in the west, as Russia’s version of, “The Secret.” Reality Transurfing offers profound and life-altering ways of looking at reality, and your relationship with it. It does this by providing detailed descriptions and understandings of how reality operates at its basic levels, and how you can use these natural currents to change your life.
We will cover the main topics of this book, and how they can quickly be applied to your life for some immediate and long-term benefits. Reality Transurfing introduces topics such as How Pendulums Operate, Reality as a mirror, the importance of heart and mind coherence, Decreasing Importance, Shifting Lifelines and operating within the Alternatives Space.
This article serves as a basic introduction to some of the core principles within Vadim Zeland’s book, Reality Transurfing, and is not a full and comprehensive guide.

In the Beginning…
Reality Transfuring offers some powerful techniques and understandings that will allow you to “shift lifelines” or come further into alignment with all that you truly desire. This book offers a unique perspective on life that will allow you to sit in the driver’s seat, and move through reality in a way that allows for you to see the underlying mechanisms of how many of the main “ingredients” in life work. This is a science of the mind (and reality), and offers a comprehensive map of understandings that will shed light on many of the great mysteries in life.
Pendulums & Their Entrapments
One of the first lessons in Reality Transurfing is the concept of Pendulums. Pendulums are an important understanding once you start navigating reality as a Transurfer, or as anyone for that matter.
Pendulums operate as an energy draw that requires both input and output to exist. In order for pendulums to exist, they must attract the attention of many through various means, and then hold that attention in clever ways. You can see Pendulums operating everywhere, whether they be a certain group of individuals who holds onto certain values and ways of living, to news and media. The tell-tale sign of a pendulum, is that it is a group of people that think in a similar way, and are bound to a certain way of seeing reality.
Pendulums come in many forms, they can be a job or a corporate structure, a religious group, a political party, or even a small neighborhood parent’s group. The idea is that these core structures serve as a point in gravity in which individuals feed both consciously and unconsciously. And the more people (adherents) feed the pendulum with their energy, the more powerful the Pendulum’s sway becomes.
There are many ways Pendulums can attract adherents, though to give one example, Pendulums often hook into emotion (guilt, hate, irritation, delights, desires, fear, security, etc), and once someone is engaged with the Pendulum energetically, it can begin extracting energy from them. This may look like someone who sees a controversial post on Facebook, and then chooses to engage with it via a comment in opposition. This person may feel that they are doing something for the good, though the pendulum only cares that they are engaging with it- not necessarily about their opinion.
Vadim Zeland shares a variety of ways to counter and neutralize pendulums for yourself, though the basic understanding of at least being able to recognize them in action, will help you significantly. The greatest threat of a destructive Pendulum is its suppressive influence on individuality, and will eventually demand more and more of it. While all Pendulums aren’t bad, and some may be worth joining, it is wise to have this understanding in your back pocket in case your mind changes.
If you do feel entrapped by a Pendulum, here is a basic practice for getting out of it:
+ Stop giving it positive or negative energy, just observe it and let it sit.
+ Begin shedding your emotional hooks with it, by letting them go one at a time.
+ Connect with others outside of the Pendulum, so you can see that it is not the only version of reality.
+ Meditate to find your ground, and stand firmly on it.
Importance
Reality Transurfing gives special significance to the idea of Importance. Importance is a force that can throw your desires or movements through reality off-balance. Importance is something that is mentally assigned to a task, event, inner-label, or physical thing. For example, someone may have an important speech coming up next weekend, and the person assigns Excess Importance to the event. In this case, the presenter may experience heightened anxieties or fears as they build the significance of the event in their mind.
Importance is a key principle for enabling yourself to take on higher and more difficult tasks with great ease. Once one learns to understand the concept of Importance, they will have a solid understanding of how to balance out their inner-state regarding success. For example, walking across a two-foot wide beam at ground level doesn’t carry much importance, so the act would be simple. However, if you raise this beam between two towers, 500ft in the air, over concrete, the act becomes far more challenging, both inwardly and outwardly.
Reality Transurfing shares that there are two types of Importance:
Inner Importance: an example of this is the belief that one assigns to their own importance. This scale of Inner Importance can be healthy, though when it tips the scales to one side or the other, a Balancing Force will come into play. This may look like someone who is overly prideful in themselves, getting abruptly humbled and brought back into balance.
Outer Importance: is when someone attributes excess Importance to something in the outer world. This might look like someone saying to themselves, “that grade is so important for me to get,” or “I absolutely need to make this amount of money by this time, it is so important to me.” The idea here is that the excess Importance assigned to something in the outer world, balances itself out with fear and anxiety. Outer Importance is often perceived with underlying fear, and often times, something will surface (or manifest) that acts on that fear, or brings it to reality.
Excess potential is only created when you attribute excess importance to an object or event that exists inside or outside of yourself.

Unity of Heart and Mind
Reality Transurfing dedicates an entire section to elaborating upon the importance of unifying the Heart and Mind. The unification of the Heart and Mind results in a far more potent and aligned energy that will allow you to move through life (shift realities) far more gracefully and satisfyingly.
Have you ever felt like your mind is trying to persuade you to do something that your heart doesn’t agree with? Perhaps this could be dragging yourself to a miserable job, convinced by your mind that it is necessary based on the numbers, when your heart is begging you to find a different route? Or maybe trying to decide on whether to attend your child’s game, or take the business trip that is guaranteed to level up your career?
If your Heart and Mind are not aligned, life will feel like a constant struggle. Though on the flipside, Reality Transurfing shares the benefits of having an aligned Heart and Mind. The main benefit of having Unity of Heart and Mind is that you will feel balanced, and in alignment, like you are finally operating as one entity. This unity can be felt deeply, and when you’re there, you will know for certain. The most akin to this state, is what some deem as a “flow state.”
Once you access this flow state, you will more easily be able to shift into new lifelines.
The mind is constantly generating thoughts and the voice of the heart is literally drowned out by the ‘thought‑churn’ making it difficult to access intuitive knowledge. If you stop the train of thoughts and simply contemplate the emptiness, you will hear the rustle of the morning stars, the inner voice that has no words. The heart could provide answers to many of our questions if only we could hear its voice.

Lifelines
In order for Reality Transurfing to make sense, you must understand the concept of Lifelines. Lifelines are a pillar concept of the book, and represent the chain of events that one’s life is taking place upon. Lifelines can be shifted and changed, and even your current lifeline, is a product of a chain of causes and effects.
Lifelines are largely controlled by your thoughts and energy, thus you are currently (and always) on a lifeline that corresponds with your present thoughts and mental image. The beautiful part of this, is that lifelines can be shifted anytime, based on how you perceive the world and yourself.
A common example of this is one’s own limiting beliefs. The individual might believe and label themselves as “unfit,” and thus become a version of themselves (or follow a Lifeline) that represents that version of themselves (fat and always on the couch). However if this individual were to start visualizing themselves as fit and Refining their Vision, they would eventually, and even rapidly move into that Lifeline, where they are fit.
Lifelines are a great topic to take into consideration, even if your faith in this book lacks. As it is testable, that you can change the way your life looks by envisioning it in a different way. Experiment for yourself, pick something that you’ve always wanted, and imagining that version of yourself (the one who has that thing). Although you might not attain this immediately, you will gradually notice yourself moving closer and closer to that version of yourself who has that thing.

Alternatives Space
The Alternatives Space represents an information structure, or infinite field of information that contains all the alternatives of all possible events. It contains everything that already was, and also everything that will be. This is the space that your potential Lifelines exist in, and it is in your power to affect the flow in which you move through the Alternatives Space.
The world exists simultaneously in two forms, physical reality, and the metaphysical Alternatives Space, which exists beyond the realm of perception, though is still objective. Some may be able to consciously recognize or feel the Alternatives Space through clairvoyance or Intuition and or Synchronicities.
The Alternatives Space is the foundational understanding for Reality Transurfing and offers the knowledge for making sense of how your reality is shifting around you. This idea places much more importance on the way you think, act and feel, as disciplined thought patterns are primarily what will allow you to shift between lifelines.
Wave of Fortune
As you begin accepting the fact that your life is a reflection of your inner-state, it is only natural to begin thinking of what your most ideal life might look like.
For many, this ideal life, is one where things flow together nicely and perfectly aligned. Almost as if the chain of events in your life is naturally leading you towards your most ideal.
Reality Transurfing terms this ideal and flowing life (or lifeline) as the “Wave of Fortune.” The Wave of Fortune simple represents a certain alignment in life where things begin naturally flowing nicely and abundantly. This may look like consistent sales within your business, connections that level up your life, individuals you’ve been thinking about reaching out to you, and more. It just seems like life is unfolding in a beautiful way.
To enter this “Wave of Fortune,” one must be able to develop at least a basic understanding of the main principles within Reality Transurfing. Primarily, the ability to recognize and balance the Importance that you assign to things, as well as maintaining other energetic balances that allow you to “surf” this lifeline.
The wave of fortune can be found in the Alternatives Space, it is a chain of events and outcomes that cluster together and are very satisfactory and beneficial for the individual. In order to move into this with the most ease, one must detach from all negative pendulums to make space for the Wave of Fortune (or Golden Vein, in the Alternatives Space). If you find yourself “surfing” this lifeline, where things start going well and Synchronistically, continue to detach and let it keep happening, if inputs are required of you, do them as promptly as you can. Or, if you find yourself touching on this lifeline, though it is quickly followed by bad luck, check for negative pendulums that may have attached to you.
Balancing Forces, Excess Potential & Intention
Reality Transurfing shares the idea of how forces naturally balance themselves out within reality. It is a cautionary understanding that represents the swings in how reality responds to certain thoughts and beliefs.
For example, the act of desiring creates excess potential and the universe will work to balance out that force. In other words, the act of strongly desiring something creates a point of friction or an imbalance in the energy field. This imbalance will naturally be sorted out, and the energy of desire may look like a constant space held between you and that object of desire. It creates a separation, or distance that cannot be connected unless the thought energy is changed.
The opposite of Desire, or the more effective mode of moving towards your goal, would be to use Intention. Intention can roughly be defined, as Zeland puts it, “the resolve to have and act.” The concept of Intention is not easily definable, though maybe it can be best understood as a force of movement. For example, if you have ever awakened in a dream, you may have found that you could move around and do whatever you want (Lucid Dreaming), and the action of moving, or making things happen, is the power of Intention. Furthermore, if you are in a dream and you desire to fly, you will not fly based on the desire alone, you must Intend to fly, and then you will.
How can you achieve a state of balance in which you combine the decision to have with the abandonment of direct action? The answer is obvious. You have to maintain balanced intention, which means to want without desiring, to take care without worrying, to strive without being distracted and to act without demanding. Balance is destroyed by the excess potential of projected importance. As you already know, the more important the goal the harder it becomes to reach.

Balancing forces and being aware of your thought patterns is a critical factor in learning to shift realities. You can experiment with this on smaller goals, and then eventually work your way up to larger goals. Maybe start with something like Intending on having something special for dinner tonight, and then actually having it. Rather than saying, “I desire to have steak tonight,” you can say, “I intend to have steak tonight.
If you get nothing from this article other than this concept, it is actually quite magical how easy things will become to happen. And it does not only stop with desire and intention, the concept can be applied to any inner-state and thought pattern. Reality Transurfing divides intention into Inner Intention and Outer Intention.
Inner Intention: Represents the resolve to act. Inner Intention allows a goal to be achieved.
Outer intention: The resolve to have. Outer Intention is the concentration of attention on how the goal realizes itself.
Replace desire with intention, and your life will change.
How to Practice Reality Transurfing
If you would like to begin your journey in Reality Transurfing, you can begin by practicing the most simple exercise, which is decreasing and increasing importance of things. For example, if you have a scary presentation coming up, or perhaps some sort of test, you can minimize the importance of it within your mind. Rather than making it something large and excessively important, simply treat it more as a simple meeting, and something that will be fun. Decreasing its importance will allow you to take it on with increased grace and flow, and in the end, it will turn out even better!
Pro Tip: Write the word ‘minimize’ on your hand, so when you are in the moment, you can glance at it and be reminded.
As you experiment with decreasing and increasing Importance levels, you will sort of develop a more intuitive understanding of what Vadim Zeland is getting at in Reality Transurfing. The tactics and methods he shares in this book can get very advanced, so as this article is not claiming to replace the book, it is recommended that you purchase the book itself to begin learning more and improving upon these understandings.
When you battle for something it is like you are trying to push your realization into the Alternatives Space, whereas when you choose something the space comes to you.
