What does the flower
say to me?
It says,
open yourself
to the light
unconditionally.
Grow your roots
most trustingly
into the warm,
receiving earth.
The deeper,
the stronger.
Close your eyes
and never wander.
Be in stillness
through the
descending dark.
Reveal
your glowing center
by unfolding
every petal
and allow each
and every one
to some day drop.
Do not
cease to be
by fretfully
attempting to stay
just as you are,
while living
the same
familiar day.
You are a process!
You must give
yourself away!
Become seeds
within the breeze
to be carried off,
to grow and to sway
unafraid
inside of every
passing heart.
